Instead of having a random number generator pick my next task for Productive Bingo, I had Max pick two random numbers, 1-5 (inclusive), to choose my next task. He picked 4 and 3, which corresponds to the task, clean and organize the apartment. I previously completed the task, finish a book, in which I read The Molecules of Now, so I can now mark it off the Bingo board!
I also still need to finish the task of creating a video game for Max, which I’ve been really dragging my feet on. I’m actually really glad cleaning the apartment will be my next task as I think this will allow me to still have enough mental energy to work on the game.
From the top of my head, here are some chores for the apartment that I’d wanted to complete for a while:
- Clear out Mt. Cardboard (a.k.a. Box Mountain), a pile of boxes that have been sitting at the corner of our dining room since we moved in over 3 months ago.
- Take out the Christmas Tree. It’s March. Yup, we’re one of those people.
- Assemble my desk cabinet, so I throw everything on my desk into it.
- Find a place for all of Max’s clothes. They’ve been sitting on the floor because he no longer had a nice giant closet for all of them after we moved. This is more his responsibility, but hopefully I can help with it too.
- Find a place to keep all of the cleaning supplies.
I’ll leave it at that for now. Hopefully the next time I update this, I can show off a nice, clean apartment! 😀
