Welcome to The Renaissance!

Hi! My name is Alinda. I’ve wanted to create a blog that teaches myself and others various skills for years, and it finally came to fruition in one night! You can read more about it in my first post here.

Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m just a girl who’s too easily bored and wants to do everything! My hobbies range from creative to practical and span many domains. My main interests, however, are video games, art, music, and cooking, so you may find more posts about these topics than anything else. Or who knows, maybe they’ll be lacking because there are so many other cool things out there to learn. 🙂

Some other tidbits – I was originally from Los Angeles where I was born and raised for 25 years of my life, briefly lived in San Francisco for work, moved to Philadelphia, and now in New Jersey. I’m living the remote life as a software engineer, and I share my place with my boyfriend and my talkative orange kitty, Dogmeat (yes, his name is a Fallout reference!)

Hm, what else is there to say? Well, I suppose if you want to learn more about me and see some of my projects, visit my portfolio website. I worked very hard on it and built it from scratch and would love if it got a bit more attention!
